What this site stores

Nothing about you. The site sets no cookies, does not count visits and loads nothing from third parties: fonts, images and scripts come from this address. There is no form and no account.

Videos

The videos on the home page come from YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited. As long as you don’t play one, the site loads nothing from YouTube; the preview image comes from this address. Only when you click a video is it loaded via youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube then receives your IP address and details about your browser and may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent by clicking, under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. More in Google’s privacy policy.

Language

So that you get the page in the right language, the site reads your browser’s preferred language and the country your request comes from when you first open it. Neither is stored.

Delivery

The site is delivered via Cloudflare. When you open it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address in order to transmit the page and fend off attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The app

Cook & Repeat is not available yet. The app will have its own privacy policy, which follows with the release.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Questions go to the address in the legal notice.
